Dr. Bryce Hauschildt

Dr. Bryce Hauschildt graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and completed his pre-clinical training in St. Kitts, West Indies. His clinical rotations were done at Louisiana State University. Dr. Hauschildt has focused his studies exclusively on small animal practice, with a personal interest in behavioral science. He appreciates that his patients are much more that a chart with a name, and realizes that owners have deep feeling for their pets and their well-being. He welcomes new clients to come and check out his hospital. He's sure you'll make it your new home.

Dr. Colleen Scoda

Dr. Colleen Scoda graduated from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2011. Prior to that, she received a BS in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2006. Dr. Scoda completed her clinical training in Raleigh, NC, at North Caroline State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed an externship at Storybrook Veterinary Hospital in Victor, NY during that year.

She was born and raised in the Rochester area and currently lives in Pittsford with her husband, their miniature hairless dachshund Eugene and their 2 cats, Emma and Ting. She is excited to finally be doing what she has been working towards for so long and feels lucky to be part of a practice where patient care is the number one priority. When not at work, she spends most of her free time keeping her Caribbean cats and world-traveling dog warm. Adjustment to this Rochester weather after basking in the sun for the past 4 years has been rough for everyone....!

Dorothy Callahan, Office Manager

Dorothy has worked for Dr. Hauschildt since the doors to Jefferson Veterinary Hospital first opened. She has always loved animals and has worked with them in many capacities. Currently, she and her husband are enjoying their home, filled with two gold, mix-breed mutts, a bevy of demanding cats, a fish tank and two birds that endeavor to drive them both nuts. Dorothy and her husband just joined the very rewarding program of fostering kittens for Lollypop Farm.

John Vassallo LVT

John has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 1990. He worked at Animal Emergency Center of Rochester for 6 years and then went to Animal Emergency Services on White Spruce Blvd for 11 years. In his spare time he runs his own sound and lighting company and spends time with his miniature zoo. The zoo includes dogs, cats, rabbits and fish. It also includes some young humans that may be considered animals at times. They do not bite, though, and are pretty well house- trained.
